Your Mission: As a Staff Product Operations Manager, you will enable product ambition, confidence, and autonomy across SoSafe’s Product Development organisation, while helping teams avoid unnecessary risk and friction. Your role is to ensure that strategy, discovery, delivery, and outcomes stay meaningfully connected as we scale. You will operate as a senior individual contributor, shaping and evolving the product operating practices, rituals, and feedback loops that help teams move fast, make good decisions, and learn continuously. This is not a delivery management or project coordination role. You are here to enable strong product decisions and outcomes at speed, while reducing unnecessary friction and breaking down silos across Product, Design, and Engineering.
Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Help shape and evolve how product work happens at SoSafe, from strategy and discovery through delivery and learning
- Enable Product Managers to make high-quality decisions at pace, supporting clear prioritisation, sensible trade-offs, and calculated risk taking
- Partner closely with Design to improve how discovery, design intent, and delivery connect as the organisation scales
- Reduce friction and break down silos between Product, Design, and Engineering by improving shared context and ways of working
- Strengthen how customer, business, and delivery signals inform product direction and roadmap decisions
- Design and facilitate planning, review, and retrospective sessions on outcomes, learning, and continuous improvement
- Introduce systems, standards, and tools that improve focus, clarity and execution without slowing teams down
- Improve visibility into progress, risks, and decisions for teams and leadership without turning ProdOps into a reporting function
- Spot patterns where the system isn’t working well and help teams course-correct early
AI-First Product Operations: As part of our AI-first transformation, this role plays a key part in shaping how Product & Design operates at scale.
- Create and scale AI-driven systems (prompt playbooks, automated reporting, workflow templates), leveraging tools like Claude to reduce manual work and enable faster, insight-driven decisions.
- Design lightweight gating and review mechanisms to manage the increased volume of ideas from AI, keeping standards high without slowing teams down.
- Act as a hands-on operator, actively using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to identify and eliminate manual processes, and set the standard for how teams operate in an AI-first environment.
What makes you a great fit:
- 7+ years of experience in Product Operations in a scaling product organisation
- Deep understanding of how strong product teams operate across discovery, delivery, and outcomes
- Strong product-first systems thinker with a pragmatic bias for execution
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and shaping decisions without formal authority
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in modern product development and software delivery practices
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Opinionated, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
What we offer:
- Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days
- Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, corporate discounts
- Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups
- And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, dog-friendly HQ
Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. These are just a sample — you'll learn more during the interview process.
