SoSafe has the ambition to become the leading human risk management provider in Europe. Our award-winning awareness platform triggers behavioural change by providing effective and engaging training and simulations on cybersecurity and data protection. Cybercrime is costing the world >$10 trillion annually and growing by 15% p.a. - we invite you to be part of the solution!
This role owns that story, and the model to deliver it. You will set the portfolio level messaging not as a collection of features or a list of releases, but as a category-defining platform with a clear point of view, govern the framework that ranks how releases go to market and personally oversee any flagship launches. You will deliver the market and competitive intelligence that keeps SoSafe’s positioning sharp, differentiated and leading. You will develop & manage a team of Sr PMMs focused on segment-specific messaging and regular product releases.
At this level, you are expected to lead multiple workstreams and deliver high-value outcomes, challenge assumptions about what matters and where to focus, and develop the people and operating model beneath you. This is a role for someone who has done great PMM work and is ready to set the standard for others.
Location: Ireland, UK, or Germany (Remote)
The role has five core accountabilities, each is strategic in scope with direct accountability for commercial impact:
- Portfolio Messaging & Category Narrative: Own the platform and category messaging architecture for SoSafe’s full portfolio. Define the headline story of what Human Risk Management means, why it matters and why SoSafe is the right answer. Translate into customer centric language articulating the pain we solve - prioritising outcomes and identity (not features). Maintain our story that we evolve as a living asset.
- GTM strategy and Launch Tiers: Set the GTM strategy for how we take our portfolio to market - covering launch prioritisation, channel strategy and the motions to drive adoption and expansion. Own the tiered launch framework and define criteria that determine tier - holding the process accountable to commercial outputs (not activity).
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a clear, current view of the competitive landscape, category evolutions, analyst opinions and buyer behaviour. Track win/loss by competitor and route actionable intelligence across the business. Provide market intelligence to influence roadmap conversations, messaging alignment and sharpen positioning to define where we lead.
- Narrative Development: Provide the messaging foundation for CEO keynotes, major events by owning the story to author how SoSafe represents its portfolio. Ensure any analyst positioning (incl narrative inputs, messaging alignment) supports evolving category definitions and criteria therein. Ensure consistency and cohesion of our story at a category - to a sales - level.
- Team Management: Manage and develop two Sr PMMs by setting clear expectations on what great looks like on launch execution, segmented messaging and commercial impact. Create clarity and structure so the team can move fast (operating rhythms, ownership, feedback loops) and make performance visible. Connect cross-functionally to influence and collaborate.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Messaging & Narrative: Maintain the portfolio messaging architecture as a living document, updated when market, product or analyst perspective shifts. Own the master messaging framework through the customers’ view: situation, problem, solution, differentiation using direct language (not technical jargon). Use AI tools to accelerate research, messaging iteration, persona development, and competitive synthesis as a standard part of your workflow. Own the company and elevator pitch; ensure consistent use across events, sales, and partner conversations & segment narratives align underneath this.
- GTM Strategy & Launch Governance: Own the GTM planning calendar as a commercial asset; connecting product roadmap milestones to pipeline moments, campaign windows, and field readiness cycles so launches land when they have maximum commercial impact. Define and maintain tiered launch framework - criteria, commercial standards and cross-functional ownership and quality gates. Personally deliver and co-ordinate best-in-class experience for Flagship Tier 1 releases; positioning, GTM strategy, enablement and post‑launch commercial review. Negotiate tier assignments and launch dates with Product Management via quarterly planning cadence, drive adherence to framework where pressure exists to over‑tier a release.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive releases, messaging shifts and maintain competitive intelligence framework and ensure it stays current (battlecards, positioning updates, objection handling) incl win/loss by competitor. Monitor analyst coverage and category signals; translate into messaging and positioning implications within 48h of material developments. Bring buyer and market insight into planning cycles, messaging reviews and product roadmap discussions.
- People & Cross-Functional Leadership: Set clear goals & expectations for Sr PMMs, run regular 1:1s with coaching focus, addressing any performance gaps early with clarity and care via measurable development plans. Build the operating model for PMM: ownership, quality standards, feedback loops for messaging and launch impact. Identify and remove blockers that prevent the team from focusing on high‑impact work.
Experience & Requirements:
- 8+ years in B2B SaaS with experience owning positioning, messaging and GTM strategy
- 2+ years of management experience
- Experience in building portfolio level messaging not just individual products
- Has designed and run launch programs with commercial accountability and tiered execution
- Managed at least 2 DR, comfortable with performance conversation and development coaching
- Cross-functional leadership skills to align Sales, Marketing, Product, CS behind GTM plans
- AI improvements to productivity and team functionality
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CyberSecurity, CISO buyer, and associated professional identity
- Has worked on positioning for emerging category, not just established products
What we offer:
- Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days, and parental leave support
- Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, Corporate Discounts, Wellbeing & Fitness Benefits
- Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups
