We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the developmental and educational needs of young children. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children in your care.
  • Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, organised, and welcoming environment.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership by supervising assistant staff and volunteers, ensuring high standards of childcare and education are maintained.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
  • Monitor individual children's needs and adapt activities accordingly to support their personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and behavioural observations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early childhood education standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to oversee classroom activities and team coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.
  • Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between different locations or community outreach activities.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A recognised qualification in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification).
