Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Native technologies.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, suggest solutions and estimate efforts to build user-friendly applications.
  • Ensure that the mobile applications are user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement app monitoring and analytics.
  • Implement app localisation in multiple languages.
  • Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identify process issues and plan preventive measures.
  • Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores.
  • Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to team members and address underperformance.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

About you:

  • Expertise in at least one Native development language across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
  • Previous experience leading a team.
  • Knowledge of SCRUM processes.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication.
  • Self-Awareness.
