Key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS using Native technologies. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, suggest solutions and estimate efforts to build user-friendly applications.
- Ensure that the mobile applications are user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement app monitoring and analytics.
- Implement app localisation in multiple languages.
- Participate in incidents review and their root cause analysis, identify process issues and plan preventive measures.
- Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores.
- Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to team members and address underperformance.
