This role will be managed from our Crewe office, CW1 2EW.

About The Role

SOS Homecare provides person‑centred care to clients in their own homes, enabling them to live as independently as possible. The Home Care Assistant supports clients with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and access to community activities. The role is based within a one area, so driving is not required; mileage will be paid on top of salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to clients.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding and basic kitchen tasks.
  • Administer medication and record observations.
  • Support clients in accessing community services and activities.
  • Maintain accurate care documentation and report changes to the team.
  • Attend induction training and ongoing refresher courses.

Qualifications & Experience

No prior care experience required; enthusiasm, commitment and a caring attitude are essential. A willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team is highly valued.
