The Education Adviser will provide professional education consultancy services to international students, supporting them in selecting appropriate academic programmes and institutions in the UK. The role involves academic guidance, admissions support, compliance oversight and liaison with partner institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students’ academic background, career objectives and eligibility for UK education programmes.
- Provide tailored advice on suitable courses, institutions and progression pathways.
- Guide students through the admissions and enrolment process, including document preparation and submission.
- Liaise with partner language schools, colleges and universities regarding entry requirements and offers.
- Maintain accurate student records in line with UK data protection regulations.
- Ensure that advice provided is compliant with relevant UK immigration and student visa requirements (where applicable).
- Monitor application deadlines and follow up with institutions regarding offer letters and confirmations.
- Support students with pre-arrival guidance, accommodation options and orientation arrangements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK education policies, admission criteria and sector developments.
- Assist in developing partnerships with new education providers and maintaining relationships with existing partners.
- Contribute to marketing activities, student recruitment initiatives and education fairs where required.
Person Specification
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in education sector (i.e. TEFL Teacher etc)
- Proven experience in education consultancy, student advisory services or international student recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of the UK education system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Desirable
- Experience working with UKVI-related student processes.
- Multilingual ability (particularly Turkish).
- Experience in student case tracking.
