As the Facilities Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning and overseeing scheduled and reactive maintenance across all Sorted sites. You’ll work closely with landlords, contractors, and internal operational teams to ensure facilities are safe, compliant and well maintained with minimal disruption to operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that will suit someone who enjoys juggling priorities, solving problems, and taking ownership.
What your day will involve:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all facilities and maintenance matters across Sorted sites in both Christchurch and Auckland
- Coordinating and assigning work to internal and external maintenance contractors
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance
- Managing facility compliance documentation including environmental, certifications, permits, and WorkSafe notifications
- Ensuring Building WOFs, signage, and equipment maintenance records are current and compliant
- Supporting minor capital works and facilities-related projects
About you:
- Proven experience in a Facilities Coordinator or similar role
- Experience with facilities systems, work permits, and compliance coordination
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with contractors, landlords, and internal teams
- Solid understanding of health & safety, environmental compliance, and building-related requirements
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Proactive mindset, commitment to safety, and willingness to go the extra mile.
