This role sits within our ‘Sorted Studios’ production team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest creative standard - managing resources, workflows and logistics with calm, confident efficiency. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy bringing order to complexity, balancing creative ambition with practical execution, and enabling talented teams to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the master production calendar across all projects
  • Lead the full production lifecycle: pre-production, shoot management and post-production delivery
  • Build and manage project budgets, track costs and provide clear financial reporting
  • Manage and maintain a roster of freelance crew (camera operators, producers, editors and specialists), including commissioning, fee negotiation and quality control
  • Maintain production quality, workflow consistency and operational best practice across all outputs
  • Secure all necessary consents, permissions, licences and compliance documentation
  • Oversee production administration including purchase orders, carnets, location agreements and contributor contracts
  • Lead troubleshooting across planning, shoots and post-production
  • Ensure risk assessments, safeguarding protocols and insurance compliance are robust and up to date

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar production or operations role within a video production company, digital publisher or creator-led business
  • Strong working knowledge of production workflows across digital video
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident budget builder with strong numeracy skills
  • Advanced Excel and/or Numbers capability
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
