Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join an ambitious and progressive firm with strong vision and growth strategies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own caseload of private client matters;
  • Drafting wills and trusts;
  • Preparing probate applications and administering estates of varying complexity;
  • Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney;
  • Handling contentious and non-contentious probate matters;
  • Making applications to the Court of Protection and advising elderly and vulnerable clients;
  • Preparing deeds of variation and advising on gifts;
  • Liaising with solicitors, the Probate Registry, Land Registry, Office of the Public Guardian, and other third parties;
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals where required.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years’ PQE as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive;
  • Broad experience across private client work;
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to details;
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently;
  • Excellent client care and communication skills;
  • A proactive, professional approach with a desire to contribute to business growth.
