- High school diploma or GED
- Associate\’s or bachelor\’s degree preferred but not required
- Interpreter certification
- 3 years\’ interpreting experience preferred but not required
- Ability to travel independently within the metropolitan area, with access to a vehicle, valid driver\’s license, and insurance

- Interpret between ASL, Tactile ASL, other visual communication forms, and written English (Deaf interpreters)
- Follow Sorenson policies, procedures, and NAD-RID Code of Conduct
- Provide excellent customer service professionally and respectfully
- Work effectively with colleagues and support team members
- Meet performance and customer service expectations with minimal supervision
- Continue education and training to enhance skills
- Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements
- Maintain a flexible schedule to meet community needs
- Work effectively in diverse, fast-paced environments
