  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate\’s or bachelor\’s degree preferred but not required
  • Interpreter certification
  • 3 years\’ interpreting experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel independently within the metropolitan area, with access to a vehicle, valid driver\’s license, and insurance

  • Interpret between ASL, Tactile ASL, other visual communication forms, and written English (Deaf interpreters)
  • Follow Sorenson policies, procedures, and NAD-RID Code of Conduct
  • Provide excellent customer service professionally and respectfully
  • Work effectively with colleagues and support team members
  • Meet performance and customer service expectations with minimal supervision
  • Continue education and training to enhance skills
  • Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet community needs
  • Work effectively in diverse, fast-paced environments
