At Sorbon Estates, our success is built on more than the properties we own; it is built on the people who shape, enhance and grow them. With a diverse and expanding portfolio across the South East, we are committed to creating vibrant, sustainable places where businesses and communities can thrive.

Our long-term approach to investment, quality and innovation underpins everything we do, from developing new spaces to enhancing established assets, ensuring every project contributes lasting value to the communities it serves.

This is a hands-on in-house role covering office, retail, industrial, residential and moorings. It offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of non-contentious commercial property matters while supporting a prestigious and high-value portfolio. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to act as the principal in-house legal adviser across our diverse property portfolio.

You will oversee the full spectrum of non-contentious commercial property work, instruct and manage external counsel where appropriate, and work closely with the Estates team. Unlike private practice, this role allows you to build long-term relationships with tenants and stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of the portfolio rather than moving between individual client matters.

For a solicitor looking to apply strong technical expertise within a dynamic, growth-focused business, this role offers genuine scope, seniority and variety, together with the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting contribution.

  • A qualified solicitor with a minimum of four years’ PQE in commercial property.
  • Comfortable working across a wide range of matters, including leases, licences, surrenders, statutory notices, SDLT and Land Registry applications.

Legal leadership with impact — a trusted role advising senior leadership and helping shape the future of a high-quality property portfolio.

Strong foundations — a financially secure, privately owned business with a long-term outlook and an established track record.

Competitive rewards — an attractive salary, discretionary bonus scheme of up to 15% of annual salary, BUPA private healthcare, pension via salary exchange and life assurance.

Excellent working environment — modern offices in Beaconsfield Old Town with excellent local amenities, convenient road links just off the M40, and a 10-minute walk to the train station.

Generous leave — 25 days’ annual leave, rising to 30 days with length of service.

Wellbeing support — on-demand GP service, free weekly fitness sessions, discounted gym membership, cycle-to-work scheme and an employee assistance programme.

Sociable culture — a welcoming and collaborative team with regular social events throughout the year.
