About the role

Are you a skilled multi trade wanting to work with an award-winning regional housebuilder?

Shanly Homes is looking for a Customer Care Operative to join their team covering our Southern sites across the Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire region.

As Customer Care Operative you will have your own company vehicle to travel around our developments to:

Carry out a range of remedial work for our customers who have moved into their new homes.

  • Ensure that all work is to a high standard, delivering a great service to our customers.
  • Be fully prepared for each job with the necessary tools, paint, supplies, etc so that work is carried out as efficiently as possible.

Accurately record and access information on our customer care software (ClixiFix).

  • Complete all the necessary information on work completed and raise if any follow up is required.

Maintain good communication with customers and our customer care team.

  • Answer any customer questions regarding the work being carried out and be aware of when to escalation points to the team.

About you

  • Multi-trade background e.g. carpentry, tiling, painting and decorating, mastic, plastering, etc.
  • Practical approach to resolving customer defects.
  • Full, clean driving licence and residing within easy reach of our Southern regional developments.
  • Customer focused and wanting to deliver a high standard of service to our customers.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Good at planning out work and what equipment/supplies, etc is needed in advance.
  • Friendly and professional approach.
  • Proactive problem solver, using your initiative to find solutions.
  • Confident IT skills and ideal if you have previous use of customer care software.

Please note as this role is working in our customers’ homes, we will conduct a criminal records check.
