We are seeking a commercially minded financial professional to join our leadership team as Head of Finance.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function whilst acting as a trusted business partner across the business. You will play a key role in supporting business strategy and driving commercial performance across the portfolio.

This is a broad and varied role extending beyond traditional finance.You’llwork closely with colleagues across acquisition,development, leasingand asset management.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance function, ensurerobust controls,accuratereportingand meaningful management information.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and long term business plans.
• Analyse portfolio performance,identifyingopportunities to enhance returns, reduce risk and unlock value.
• Provide financial oversight and challenge across leasing, investment,developmentand refurbishment projects.
• Supportacquisitions frominitialappraisal through to completion.
• Oversee financial planning, banking relationships and covenant management.
• Review development appraisals, project viability, build costs and programme assumptions, ensuring investment decisions are commercially sound.
• Identifyopportunities to improve systems, reporting and business processes.
• Build strong relationships across the business, supporting teams to improve performance,accountabilityand commercial awareness.

About you

You are likely to be an experienced finance professional operating as a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar within a property focused environment.

You’ll bring:

• Ideally experience within a property investment, development, asset management or wider real estate business. Alternatively, experience within a multi-site organisation (such as retail, hospitality, healthcare or leisure) with responsibility for managing income-generating assets, billing and revenue streams, occupier or customer charge structures, and property operating costs.
• Strong understanding of the financial management of real estate assets, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, capital expenditure and operational cost control.
• Qualified accountant with the ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions.
• Experience supporting property transactions, acquisitions, leasingactivityor asset management initiatives.
• Strong understanding of property finance, taxation,VATand investment appraisal.
• Strong analytical skills and the confidence to provide challenge whereappropriate.
• The ability to effectively communicate and engage with multiple stakeholders.
