At Sorba, engineering is our core activity. From the concept stage, we work closely with the architect to find a suitable solution for your project. For complex projects, we use mock-ups. We build a full-scale section of the structure so that we can immediately test our engineers' designs and give you an impression of our solutions.
The position we are looking to fill is that of our imminently retiring BDM, with a handover/overlap phase in the near future. The role is for a remote working Business Development Manager reporting directly to our Commercial Director who is based in The Netherlands, and fully supported by the UK management scheme. Ideally be situated within an hour’s travel of London lending itself to access the London based Architect’s and Main Contractors to build on and maintain client relationships.
The majority of our projects over the last 30 years have been predominantly in the Midlands and the South. Sorba are not tied to any particular material types, we are a very experienced engineering company (50 years within the industry) with the ability to adapt materials to the client/project needs. You will have relevant (+10 year) experience within the cladding/façade sector and as is the norm be very familiar with the necessary PQQ systems which is a vital part of the tender process.
We are looking for a long term partner who can carry on with our growing success as a façade contractor.
