About the Role
We are seeking a visionary yet pragmatic Futures Consultant / Strategist to lead and deliver futures strategy engagements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and partner teams to reimagine the client of tomorrow and translate speculative thinking into tangible action. Your work will help craft an actionable Futures Strategy Report, shape innovation roadmaps, and establish frameworks to enable long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery and strategic foresight phase across multiple business and functional areas.
- Co-create practical and actionable Futures Strategy Reports that provide strategic recommendations and a visionary roadmap.
- Conduct trend analysis, and horizon scanning using methods such as STEEP, PESTLE, and Design Fiction.
- Facilitate workshops including, impact mapping and blueprinting with senior leadership.
- Collaborate with business, data, technology, and design teams to synthesise findings and align on key opportunities.
- Partner with internal product, R&D and innovation teams to translate strategy into capability building and execution plans.
- Produce leadership-ready outputs that provoke discussion, pose questions, and guide organisational transformation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Background:
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, innovation strategy or foresight.
- Deep understanding of enterprise technologies, digital transformation and customer-centred innovation.
- Proven track record of synthesising complex information into clear, actionable strategy.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Futures thinking: STEEP, speculative design, backcasting, trend mapping, scenario building.
- Strategic consulting: impact mapping, strategic blueprinting, stakeholder facilitation.
