We are looking for an experienced design engineer to design the composite airframe for the S-1

What You'll Do
- Lead the detailed design and CAD modelling of the primary and secondary structures for the S-1
- Support the tooling and manufacturing design of prototype components for a flight test aircraft
- Support the integration of mechanical, electrical and thermal systems onto the S-1 airframe
- Support the design of other airframe assemblies such as landing gear and nacelles
Who You Are
- Degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field
- Knowledge of composite part design principles, composite tooling and manufacturing processes
- Ability to apply inventive thinking to solve complex structural design challenges
- Proficient in CAD (preferably 3DExperience) including sketching, surfacing, 2D drawing and 3D modelling with appropriate GD&T
