We are currently seeking passionate waiters to join our dedicated Omboo team, delivering vibrant and memorable dining experiences within our pan‑Asian fine dining restaurant, while also supporting our elegant Afternoon Tea service.

Your role in our family

  • Deliver exceptional standards of service to guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of Omboo’s pan‑Asian menu, including flavours, ingredients, and presentation, to provide confident and engaging recommendations.
  • Welcome and seat guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Support Afternoon Tea service by presenting dishes, pastries, and beverages with elegance and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well‑presented restaurant environment, including table setup and service stations.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to deliver a seamless, high‑quality service.
  • Take pride in your appearance, professionalism, and your contribution to upholding the standards of Sopwell House.

What would make you the perfect fit?

  • A genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
  • Previous experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or similar high‑quality dining environment. Knowledge of pan‑Asian cuisine or Afternoon Tea service is highly desirable.
  • A friendly, professional, and guest‑focused attitude.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining part of a close‑knit team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
