Your role in our family:

  • Lead, brief and support the Conference & Banqueting team to deliver exceptional service across conferences, weddings and special events.
  • Allocate duties, oversee performance and provide training, feedback and guidance to maintain consistently high standards.
  • Oversee the setup and delivery of events in accordance with Banquet Event Orders, client requirements and hotel standards.
  • Act as the main operational contact for clients, coordinating closely with the Events, Kitchen and wider Food & Beverage teams.
  • Support banqueting bar operations, including beverage ordering, stock rotation, stocktake preparation and maintaining clean, organised bar areas.
  • Ensure cash handling, billing, banking and shift handovers are completed accurately and communicated effectively.
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout all Conference & Banqueting areas.
  • Take responsibility in the absence of senior managers and ensure all health and safety, food hygiene, licensing and company procedures are followed.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Conference & Banqueting supervisory or management role is essential.
  • Previous banqueting bar experience, with knowledge of beverage service, stock control and cash-handling procedures.
  • Experience leading, training and motivating a team within a busy events environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients.
  • A hands-on, guest focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays in line with business needs.
