Your role in our family

  • Support the Octagon Bar Manager in supervising, training and developing the bar team to our departmental standards
  • Act as a guest service role model, creating a warm and positive atmosphere for guest relations
  • Ensure the Cocktail Bar is fully stocked with our agreed product range and the team confidently trained to serve it
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints, and identify opportunities to maximise sales
  • Get onto the floor during meal periods and peak trading times to support the team
  • Help maintain service, sanitation and food handling standards across the department
  • Build open, collaborative relationships with the wider Food & Beverage team

What we're looking for

  • Previous supervisory experience within a bar or Food & Beverage environment, ideally in a luxury hotel
  • Strong product knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beverage service
  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent guest service skills with a warm, personable manner
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
