Full Time/Part Time Available:

Full time salary up to £25,792 per annum (£12.40 per hour) + service charge & tips

Part Time salary (24 hours per week) up to £ 15,475.2 per annum (£12.40 per hour) (21 years old and above) + service charge & tips

Shifts range between 6:30 am – 11:00 pm.

We’re currently looking for a passionate Room Service Waiter to join our dedicated In-Room Dining team, delivering discreet, attentive, and memorable dining experiences to our guests in the privacy and comfort of their rooms.

Your role in our family:

  • Deliver exceptional standards of service to our guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of all menu items, their presentation, and accompaniments to provide confident recommendations.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with care and attention.
  • Accurately prepare, deliver, and present room service orders to guest rooms.
  • Collect finished trays regularly from rooms and corridors, maintaining the hotel’s standards of tidiness and presentation
  • Keep the service area clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Assist with the set-up and preparation of the room service operation to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide a seamless guest experience.
  • Take pride in presentation, attention to detail, and upholding the standards of Sopwell House.

  • A genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
  • Previous experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or similar luxury room service environment.
  • A friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining part of a close-knit team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
