We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Director of Sales to join our senior leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue growth across MICE, Food and Beverage, Spa and Rooms, building strong client relationships, and leading a sales team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven professional with the vision and leadership to take Sopwell House to the next level of commercial success.
- Formulate and deliver the hotel’s sales strategy to increase market share and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Sales, Reservations, Marketing, and Conference & Events teams.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key local, national, and international clients.
- Identify, secure, and manage new business opportunities across all markets.
- Oversee and manage third-party partnerships, including Vine Tree Hotels & Venues and Preferred Hotels.
- Prepare, monitor, and achieve sales budgets and performance targets.
- Conduct regular market analysis to anticipate client requirements and trends.
- Represent Sopwell House at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and client functions.
- Ensure all sales activity is recorded accurately, with client information managed effectively.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to align strategies and maximise profitability.
- Maintain the highest level of guest and client satisfaction by ensuring excellent service delivery across all touchpoints.
