Full-Time Position (40 hours) – Up to £29k per annum plus service charge

Your country home away from home, nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Hertfordshire countryside. Your role in our family:

Responsibilities

  • Work with an incredible team who provide our guests with unforgettable cuisine
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented to deliver an excellent guest experience while assisting with food cost controls
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes
  • Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

What would make you the perfect fit?

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts or related major; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in professional cookery is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie role within a high-end hotel or fine dining environment
  • Solid understanding of excellence in customer service, preferably gained in a 5-star or luxury hospitality setting
  • Solid understanding of modern and classical cooking techniques, with the ability to execute a diverse range of dishes to a consistent level.
  • Skilled in preparing and plating dishes across various sections (e.g. grill, larder, garnish, or sauce), with attention to detail and efficient prep management.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering elevated brasserie-style cuisine in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
