Are you looking to build your experience in NHS Pension administration while helping to deliver an accurate, reliable and friendly service for NHS employees? We have two opportunities within our NHS SBS Pensions function – one in the Data Cleansing Team and one in the Calculations Team. You’ll join a supportive group that cares about accuracy, teamwork and doing the right thing for our members. The work is varied, detailed and genuinely meaningful, and you’ll be part of a friendly and flexible team that helps ensure NHS colleagues receive the correct benefits at the right time. This role operates on a hybrid basis. You’ll need to be within a reasonable commuting distance of our Southampton office, as alongside a monthly office day there will also be occasional ad hoc attendance required for meetings, training, or team collaboration.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing NHS Pension information accurately and on time in line with scheme regulations.
- Updating pension records and providing documentation through Pensions Online where appropriate.
- Calculating periods of pensionable pay and completing refund and retirement calculations.
- Responding professionally to internal and external enquiries by phone or email.
- Supporting data cleansing, data processing and associated project work.
- Meeting service level agreements and KPIs through accurate and timely administration.
What you’ll bring:

- Experience working in a structured or process‑driven environment.
