Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Services team and lead the design and deployment of hardware for a greenfield multi-site enterprise system. This is a unique opportunity to work using innovative technologies and secure-by-design principles.

This role is 100% office-based in Hemel Hempstead.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and deploying enterprise hardware platforms using COTS server, storage, and networking technologies.
- Creating and maintaining technical design artefacts including Low-Level Designs and disaster recovery instructions.
- Acting as the main point of contact for all hardware and datacentre-related matters.
- Supporting deployments across multiple environments from development to production.
- Providing technical advice and cross-training to peers and team members.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
- Strong experience with VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Proven hands-on experience with Dell enterprise storage platforms.
- Expertise in storage array deployment, replication, and fault tolerance.
- Knowledge of secure-by-design principles and system hardening practices.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as STIG, NIST, or CIS.
- Skilled in enterprise hardware installations and cabling management.
It would be great if you had:
- Dell EMC or VMware certifications.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with SCIDA regulations.
- Knowledge of container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
