Could you help organisations solve complex manufacturing and supply chain challenges while leading transformational improvement programmes that deliver measurable business outcomes? We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our Aerospace, Defence and Security team. In this client-facing leadership role, you will work with some of the UK's most complex industrial environments, helping organisations improve operational performance, manufacturing effectiveness, supply chain resilience and sustainable business outcomes.
This is a UK-wide role with a strong on-site delivery focus. You will be expected to work at client locations a minimum of three days per week, primarily across Broughton, Filton and Prestwick, with occasional travel to Belfast and other UK or international locations as required.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading operational excellence, manufacturing and supply chain transformation engagements across complex industrial environments.
- Delivering diagnostics, assessments and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, delivery, cost, productivity and operational performance.
- Managing senior stakeholders, customer relationships and multidisciplinary delivery teams, including line management responsibilities and leadership of large-scale client programmes.
- Supporting supplier development, quality assurance, recovery planning and end-to-end supply chain improvement activities.
- Identifying opportunities for growth, securing additional business through operational excellence and contributing to business development, proposals and client pursuits.
- Collaborating with digital, data, engineering and transformation specialists to develop practical, technology-enabled solutions that deliver sustainable results.
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience in operational excellence, manufacturing, supply chain transformation, procurement, quality assurance or industrial transformation.
- Strong practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies, with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as a minimum requirement.
- Experience working within aerospace, defence, manufacturing or other complex industrial environments.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders from shop floor teams through to executive leadership and drive successful business change.
- Experience of supplier assessment, performance improvement, recovery planning, risk management and cross-functional problem solving.
- Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance and the ability to achieve Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
It would be great if you had:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Professional qualifications in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing or engineering disciplines.
- Experience supporting sustainability, responsible sourcing or environmental improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning, manufacturing resource planning, supplier management or industrial technology platforms.
- Experience developing consulting propositions, reusable methodologies or market-facing solutions.
- Experience delivering programmes involving UK and European stakeholders.

Salary: Up to £80,000.
