We are seeking an exceptional, highly motivated individual to work with the Strategic Procurement Delivery Services team, key internal stakeholders and our clients to optimise procurement activities across Health, Construction, Estates, Business Services and Digital & IT categories.

The role is hybrid, requiring office presence in Salford once a month and occasional visits to customer sites.

  • What you will be doing
  • Lead complex and high‑value procurement processes, including legal, market engagement, scoping, briefing, tendering, selection, evaluation, contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Provide high‑quality, customer‑focused procurement and service‑design advice to external customers.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, generating new opportunities for work.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer teams and provide commercial and assignment advice to internal staff.
  • Identify development and new opportunities through horizon scanning and maintaining professional networks across the NHS and wider public sector.
  • Show expertise in the NHS, its strategic goals and policy drivers.
  • Support project delivery as both a leader and a supporter.

  • Significant relevant industry experience in delivering procurement solutions.
  • Ability to partner and influence internal and external stakeholders in a project‑management environment.
  • Public sector experience (essential).
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations.
  • Experience developing acquisition strategy into delivery.
