You will also have broader responsibilities working within a newly formed Operations Management team within the Digital & IT category umbrella and support the development of tender packs and specifications to ensure they are designed using user-centered design principles and test suppliers against relevant industry standards and CO frameworks.

This role is hybrid, with monthly onsite visits to our Salford office for team collaboration, workshops or meetings.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end accreditation process for new digital commercial frameworks to ensure compliance with GDS controls, Cabinet Office standards, NHSE assurance requirements and other emerging policies.
- Coordinating submissions, evidence packs and approvals with central government and NHS assurance teams.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for digital assurance across NHS SBS commercial frameworks and advising internal colleagues.
- Embedding accreditation and assurance requirements into framework design, documentation, supplier onboarding and governance processes.
- Conducting retrospective audits and maintaining oversight to ensure frameworks remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
- Supporting tender development, using user-centred design principles, and contributing to policy development and continuous improvement activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Knowledge of digital assurance frameworks, including GDS standards, Cabinet Office controls or similar.
- Experience coordinating or delivering accreditation or compliance processes within a digital, IT or public sector environment.
- Understanding of framework governance, audit activity and quality assurance.
- Ability to interpret and apply standards, policies and technical requirements.
- Experience preparing evidence packs or documentation for review by external assurance bodies.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assurance activities at pace.
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge of the Technology Code of Practice or other digital policy frameworks.
- Experience working with NHS England, central government or similarly regulated bodies.
- Aware of emerging digital policy trends or standards.
