Do you have a proven track record working in IAM Engineering? Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security sector are recruiting for an experienced Senior IAM Engineer to support the delivery of IAM strategy for a flagship account within the business. This role is pivotal for the team in both general IAM ticketing activities and high‑profile projects in the aerospace industry. This role is based on site in the Newport office approximately four days per week. Due to the nature of the client, we are only able to progress with British nationals eligible for SC clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the IAM Team with an engineering focus (approximately 80% hands‑on, 20% leadership).
  • Focal point in the team for any escalations.
  • Manage customer‑focused general IAM ticket activities.
  • Support project activities and direct involvement with unique large‑scale, one‑of‑a‑kind European‑wide initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience with Exchange 2010/2016 or similar.
  • An understanding of Forefront Identity Management (FIM) and Microsoft Identity Management (MIM).
  • Experience with Exchange CUs.
  • Good understanding of group policies (GPO).
  • Knowledge of Mail AV/SPAM – Trend IMSVA.
  • Experience monitoring Exchange and AD services.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi‑Forest scale.
  • Experience with Single Sign‑on/PKI.
  • Understanding of Group Policy (AD).
