This role is full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term contract with hybrid working – you’ll be based in Newport, working in the office two days per week, with the rest from home.
- What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and Resourcing and HR teams, acting as a trusted partner.
- Screen, interview and assess high volumes of candidates, providing quality shortlists and insights to hiring managers.
- Manage multiple recruitment campaigns, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
- Develop relationships with clients and collaborators to support long‑term service delivery and business goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and contribute to service improvements.
- Use data and insights to support decision making and improve time‑to‑hire metrics.
- What you’ll bring
- Experience delivering recruitment services in a fast‑paced environment and managing competing priorities.
- Proven ability to handle high‑volume recruitment activity while maintaining quality outcomes.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, using data to support recruitment decisions.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your workload.
- Experience working within a recruitment environment.

- Experience using online Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience recruiting within a UK Government environment.
- Understanding of the Government Shared Services model.
