Do you have exceptional customer service skills and are you looking for a role where you can really demonstrate them? At Sopra Steria, within our Transformative Business Services (TBS) team, we’re looking for Administrators to support our busy recruitment function working with high‑profile Government clients. You’ll play a key part in delivering a smooth, professional experience for candidates and stakeholders, while building strong relationships and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes. This is a 12-month fixed term contract and follows a hybrid working model. You will be based in our Newport office two days per week, on Monday and Tuesday, with the remaining days worked from home.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing high-volume recruitment activity in a fast‑paced environment, supporting candidates through processes such as online testing, allocations, medical fitness checks and interview scheduling.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns by communicating with successful candidates about start dates, training arrangements and next steps.
- Acting as a first point of contact for candidates and stakeholders, handling inbound queries by phone and email in a professional and helpful way.
- Processing work in line with agreed procedures, business rules and scripts, meeting defined quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records on databases and manual systems to support audit requirements.
- Planning and prioritising your workload to ensure deadlines are met, escalating queries where appropriate and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
