Are you passionate about leading transformational change and delivering projects that make a real impact on how organisations attract and hire talent? We're looking for an Assistant Project Lead to join our growing Resourcing Project Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a variety of recruitment and resourcing transformation projects, helping to deliver meaningful change for our clients and the wider business. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of Project Leads, Project Supports, Assistant Project Leads and Project Portfolio Managers, all focused on delivering high-quality outcomes in a supportive and delivery-focused environment.

This is a hybrid role with Newport as the preferred office location. You'll primarily work remotely, with occasional travel to Newport for team meetings, collaboration sessions, training, and key project activities as required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading multiple resourcing and recruitment transformation projects from initiation through to delivery and transition into business-as-usual.
  • Engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to define requirements and deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Assessing change requests, identifying impacts, risks, issues, and potential solutions.
  • Managing project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, and performance to ensure successful delivery.
  • Producing clear and accurate project reporting, providing transparency on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance resourcing and recruitment services.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience delivering projects within a resourcing, recruitment, talent acquisition, or workforce planning environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of recruitment technologies and Applicant Tracking Systems such as Oleeo, Avature, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience delivering medium to large-scale transformation projects or programmes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.
  • Experience managing project budgets, resource planning, and cost control.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of colleagues.
