Our marketing team is transforming and growing. We're delivering an exciting program of projects and campaigns and we're looking for a senior marketing executive to join the team at this pivotal point. We've laid the foundations and now we're accelerating.

We're looking for someone to join the team for a 7-month FTC to market Sopra Steria and join us in transforming a vibrant function within the organisation.

What you will be doing:

  • The Senior Marketing Executive will be central to the ambitions of the marketing team, helping to deliver exceptional campaigns.
  • The successful candidate will work with stakeholders from across the business to plan and develop campaigns and manage the channels to deliver them.
  • Activation of the tactical marketing plan: Ensuring the smooth running of marketing activity across our key accounts and campaigns.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.
  • Develop and manage brand building and demand generation activities.
  • Utilise various marketing channels such as content marketing, social media, white papers, and events to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Monitoring performance and measurement: Regular monitoring and monthly reporting on campaign performance. Recommending improvements to our plans.
  • Content creation and coordination: Work with our content manager to create high-quality, targeted content including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, website content, video, social media and other collateral to support marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and resonates with our target audience. Supporting the writing and curation of content.
  • Having a deep understanding of key markets and our target audience within the market. Understanding the problems they face, the messaging that resonates and the places they go for information.
  • Continuous researching of the market and our competitors to ensure we are at the forefront of the market.
  • Work with our Market Insight team to assess market trends, consumer behaviour and analyst views. Then translate this insight into developing key messages and market activities aligned to specific propositions and services.
  • Event coordination: Identify, promote and coordinate events and follow up programs.

What you’ll bring:

  • Marketing degree or similar qualification;
  • You’ll need to be proactive and a real problem solver with a "can-do" attitude.
  • You’ll be confident in speaking with senior leaders, suppliers and industry bodies.
  • You will enjoy mapping out processes and procedures, and leading marketing campaigns to deliver business objectives.
  • While this isn’t a design role, you should have a good eye for detail and a level of creativity in thinking and approach.
  • The ability to write compelling content would be useful but isn't critical.
  • Being organised and adept at planning is vital to managing multiple projects and campaigns.
