As a Senior Data Architect within our Data & AI Practice, you will play a critical role in the technical delivery of complex data solutions across our Strategic Digital Solutions sector. In this role, you will set the technical direction on projects, ensuring data architectures meet client needs while being delivered to agreed time, budget and quality expectations. You will work in a collaborative, professional services environment where coaching others, improving standards and sharing knowledge are actively encouraged. Alongside project delivery, you will contribute to developing repeatable data platform offerings and help strengthen how we work as a wider data and AI community.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading the technical delivery of enterprise data solutions to meet agreed time, budget and quality outcomes.
- Providing specialist data architecture input into bids, solution design and delivery projects.
- Designing end-to-end data architectures and producing clear, high-quality design artefacts.
- Leading and directing data engineering teams, including line management responsibilities.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients on data architecture, strategy and governance.
- Contributing to reusable data platforms, technical standards and practice capability.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in enterprise and solution data architecture using recognised frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering modern data platforms using technologies such as Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Oracle, SAP or Teradata.
- Strong expertise in data integration and pipeline development using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Talend, IBM DataStage, SAS DI Studio or AWS Glue.
- Advanced data modelling, transformation and querying skills using languages such as SQL and Python.
- Experience delivering data quality, metadata management and governance solutions using tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra Data Catalog, Informatica IDQ or Talend Data Quality.
- A strong track record of leading technical teams in client-facing environments and taking accountability for delivery quality.
