Do you enjoy taking ideas to market, building strong propositions and seeing your work make a measurable impact? We are looking for an experienced and engaging marcomms professional to join us at an exciting point in our journey, as we reposition NHS SBS Consulting as the transformation partner of choice for the NHS.

Our Consulting team is relatively newly formed, with a strong start-up culture and ambitious plans for growth. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering those plans – working closely with Consulting leaders to establish clear positioning, build awareness of our service offers and support the achievement of income-generation and reputation-building objectives. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role, suited to someone who enjoys working in an agile way, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is motivated by delivering measurable results. You will be part of the Marketing and External Communications team, with a dotted-line into the Consulting Director, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

We offer hybrid working, with ideally two days per month in the office plus ad hoc meetings as required. The role can be based in London or ideally within the M62 corridor.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with the Consulting team to develop and deliver go-to-market plans, positioning and awareness-building activity across priority markets.
  • Developing and evolving compelling value propositions across our consulting service offers, including finance, workforce, commercial, automation, change management and full-team services.
  • Owning marcomms strategies and delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital, video, events and print.
  • Managing activity across the marketing funnel to grow and engage audiences and deliver marketing qualified leads to client-facing teams.
  • Creating accurate, engaging and audience-focused content for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting on, evaluating and optimising activity against agreed metrics to demonstrate impact and ROI.

What you’ll bring:

  • A marketing degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant experience in a similar marcomms role within a consulting environment.
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering agile marcomms strategies that have supported growth.
  • Experience of launching new consulting services or propositions to market.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities at pace.
  • Demonstrable experience of defining, tracking and evaluating ROI on marcomms activity.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience of working within the NHS or wider public sector.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: London or ideally based within the M62 corridor, with hybrid working (two days per month in the office plus ad hoc meetings).

Security Clearance Level: DBSS

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
