Ready to start your career in project delivery? If you’re looking to take your first step into a delivery‑focused environment, this Junior PMO role could be a great opportunity for you. You’ll help keep projects organised and on track, support experienced Project Managers and gain hands‑on exposure to both waterfall and agile ways of working. You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team who will help you build your confidence, grow your skills and learn how to support the smooth running of complex programmes. You’ll work in structured, supportive environments and will get the chance to develop your understanding of project governance, planning and coordination. You’ll also spend time on client sites depending on project needs – typically 2–3 days a week in and around London, Hemel Hempstead, Farnborough or Salisbury. You must be eligible and willing to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting project governance activities and maintaining clear, accurate project controls.
- Keeping key project documentation up to date and well organised.
- Assisting with progress reporting, including risks, actions and dependencies.
- Helping with planning tasks and day‑to‑day coordination activities.
- Working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to support smooth project delivery.
- Escalating issues promptly and helping to keep stakeholders informed.
