Make a Lasting Impact on NHS Finance Transformation. Are you a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Finance & Accounting solutions? Do you thrive on solving complex client challenges and driving transformational change? This opportunity is focused on working with NHS Trusts to understand the value and benefits case that can be derived from transitioning to the new NHS SBS digital finance solution.
You’ll work across multiple NHS Trusts and ICS groups, showcasing the digital system and process service solution to demonstrate the benefits case to the Trust, their employees and suppliers. As Service Solutions Director, you will demonstrate your subject matter expertise in Finance & Accounting solutions, alongside a deep technical understanding of how clients consume the full end-to-end services. You’ll articulate the benefits to clients and support the development of robust business cases in collaboration with our client facing commercial teams.
You’ll take ownership of key aspects of the sales cycle, including detailed engagement with NHS CFOs, FDs, Deputies and their teams, supporting local business case development, case-for-change review sessions and contributing significantly to the full business case. Working with the Account Director team, you’ll help develop ‘Case for Change’ proposals, highlighting tangible benefits at Trust level and providing insight and clarity to enable better-informed decisions.
Your expertise will be pivotal in providing a vertical sales approach for our F&A solutions, problem-solving how our products can resolve client challenges, refining processes, developing service descriptions and coaching the wider sales team on NHS SBS F&A products. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in growing our portfolio, working with the wider Sales Team to develop and execute a robust tactical plan and strategy for growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the development and execution of the F&A growth strategy alongside senior leaders.
- Engaging directly with NHS finance leaders to build compelling business cases and drive change.
- Delivering technical workshops, process reviews and system demonstrations for clients.
- Developing service descriptions, process maps and value propositions for new and existing clients.
- Educating and coaching the sales team to articulate the full benefits of F&A solutions to clients.
- Benchmarking our offerings against competitors and in-house models to showcase our unique value.
- Supporting both new business and renewals, identifying growth opportunities and securing longer-term contracts.
- Collaborating with internal teams to maximise impact at each stage of the sales cycle.
What you’ll bring:
- Senior sales or client management experience, ideally within the NHS or BPO sector.
- Deep technical understanding of SaaS F&A and procurement products/services.
- Strong knowledge of NHS operational finance and the national agenda.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information simply and effectively.
- Self-starter with exceptional time management and the ability to work independently.

- Experience as a Director of Operational Finance within the NHS, bringing both technical expertise and a client-side perspective.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £90k depending on experience
