Are you looking for a new Engineering role using Active Directory and Windows technology? Sopra Steria’s Aerospace Defence and Security sector are looking for their next Infrastructure Engineering hire working within a growing team providing unique services to a client within the defence sector. This role will place you at the heart of the account working in the identity services team leveraging Active Directory to ensure that the domain, certification and federation services are secure, scalable, resilient and optimised to meet operational business needs. This area of the business offers huge scope to progress so if you’re looking for an opportunity to develop then this one may be for you. This role would be based on site in the office in Farnborough. Due to the nature of the projects we are working on, we are only able to progress with candidates eligible for DV clearance.
What you’ll be doing:
- "Water and Feed" several domains in a multi-tenancy private cloud environment with an automation-first mindset
- Help support the implementation of Identity and access management strategies ensuring alignment to governance
- Assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical issues and problems within the scope of the Identity Services function and adjacent technologies that may form the overarching identity solution and strategy of the Platform
- Support the technical aspects of formal change control processes and related activities.
- Support the Engineering Leadership and the Technical and Solution Architecture teams by researching recommended practices and evaluating approved and emerging technologies.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in an Infrastructure, Networking or IT Support environment
- Expertise using Active Directory, PKI and Identity and Access Management
- General Infrastructure experience covering administration, fault finding/diagnosis and fix.
- Understanding of Automation
- Good stakeholder management skills
