Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for a new, progressive opportunity? Sopra Steria are recruiting for a Collaboration Services Engineer to join a team working on unique projects within the defence sector. This role will be based in our Farnborough office and requires eligibility for DV clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Collaboration Services function.
  • Produce and maintain design artefacts such as LLDs, Release Notes, and service‑related failover and disaster recovery instructions.
  • Support formal change control processes and related activities.
  • Research recommended practices and evaluate approved and emerging technologies for Engineering Leadership, Technical, and Solution Architecture teams.
  • Apply technical expertise to improve solution quality and enhance the customer experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in an IT Support or similar technical environment.
  • Understanding of key technologies including Cisco Unified Communication, Microsoft Exchange, and SharePoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working in the defence sector.
