Are you an experienced Change professional looking for the opportunity to shape and grow a developing Change practice while delivering meaningful transformation for clients? Do you enjoy working across a variety of projects, building strong stakeholder relationships and helping organisations successfully adopt change? We're looking for a Change Consultant to join our growing Change team within Consulting.

Following the evolution of our Target Operating Model, Change has become a standalone capability within Consulting, providing support across Finance & Accounting, Automation, Commercial and wider transformation programmes for both internal stakeholders and external clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing team where you'll play a key role in delivering change initiatives while helping to develop our change management methodologies, ways of working and future growth strategy. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of client and internal transformation projects, contributing not only to successful delivery but also to the ongoing development of our Change practice.

We can offer great career progression opportunities, the ability to be based anywhere across the UK, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs, and training and development opportunities. This is a hybrid role with ad hoc travel as required, although we are particularly interested in candidates located within easy reach of Manchester, Leeds or Southampton.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and delivering change management plans, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training and readiness activities.
  • Leading change activities across transformation programmes to support the successful adoption and embedding of new processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Monitoring change progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation activities to support successful delivery.
  • Defining and tracking adoption measures and benefits realisation activities to ensure intended outcomes are achieved and sustained.
  • Building stakeholder engagement and commitment to deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development and growth of the Change Management practice through innovation and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering change management activities within project and transformation environments.
  • Experience supporting process, technology and organisational change programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and workstreams within complex organisations.
  • Knowledge and practical application of change management methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • A consulting mindset with commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

It would be great if you had:

  • Change management certification such as Prosci or APMG.
  • Experience working within the NHS or a similarly complex and regulated environment.
  • Previous consulting experience.
  • Experience working across Finance & Accounting, automation, systems implementation or business process transformation programmes.

If you're interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: Hybrid, UK-wide with ad hoc travel. Ideally located near Manchester, Leeds or Southampton.

Security Clearance Level: BPSS.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000.

Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the choice to buy additional days, health cash plan, life assurance, and pension.

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improve performance and productivity. We support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you're interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible.
