Role Overview

As an Automation Business Analyst, you will be part of a team delivering high-quality product-based solutions to clients, with a specific focus on the functional design of these solutions.

You will be an expert in solution design, working under the responsibility of a project manager with minimal supervision.

You will engage in various project phases, from launch to delivery.

In this role, you will be responsible for transferring knowledge to clients and providing them with ongoing support.

Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, helping them develop their skills through knowledge transfer.

Leveraging your extensive experience, you will handle more complex projects, lead requirement-gathering sessions, perform in-depth analysis, and develop comprehensive business cases.

You will also provide strategic insights to senior management, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure that business solutions are scalable and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation: Leading complex requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to capture detailed business needs.
• Process Modelling and

Improvement: Creating process models of moderate to high complexity to visualise current and future business processes.

Identifying inefficiencies in business processes and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Documentation: Developing comprehensive and often complex documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
• Stakeholder

Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed.

Coordinating and leading client meetings and acting as a primary contact for the client for major components of a solution.

• Solution

Design: Designing and validating high-level functional solutions that meet business requirements, address feasibility issues, align with technical constraints and comply with the project framework (concepts, standards, user experience, etc.).

• Testing and

Validation: Defining moderate to high complexity acceptance criteria.

Developing and executing test plans, for major components of a solution, to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects.

• Prototyping: Building prototypes where required.
• Support and Training: Providing the delivery team with functional support. Supporting and training of end-users to ensure they can effectively use new systems and processes.
• Project Management: Contributing to project planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to align business strategies with organisational goals.
• Project

Leadership: Leading project teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of project milestones.

Independently organises tasks within their responsibilities and aligns the planning with workloads and time constraints.

• Risk

Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimise impact on projects and business operations.

Evaluating risks and escalating when appropriate.

• Mentoring and

Coaching: Providing guidance and support to junior business analysts, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

Providing training when necessary.

Reviewing the work of the employees under their supervision.

• Continuous

Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities for process improvements and driving initiatives to enhance business performance.

Proposing initiatives for ongoing improvement (productivity, agility, customer satisfaction).

• Compliance: Applying and following relevant processes and standards.
• Pre-sales: Participating in pre-sales activities and contributing to proposals and business cases.
