Are you passionate about creating smooth, engaging learning experiences that help people grow? As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in supporting the delivery of learning programmes across our HR Shared Service Centre. Working within the People Hub, you’ll collaborate with collaborators, facilitators, and internal teams to coordinate sessions, leading learner communications, and maintain accurate records in our Learning Management System.
From organising events and supporting learners to improving processes and partnering with departments across the business, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to contribute to a culture of continuous development.
The People Hub will be joining us in the Newcastle office in the coming months, following a transition of its operations out of Stockton. This brings new opportunity to our Newcastle teams, as we hire into this area.
You’ll be based onsite at our Newcastle office three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday), with the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days. During the initial training period, occasional travel to our Stockton office may be required.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Learning Programme Coordination -Support the full lifecycle of learning programmes, including scheduling, communications, session setup in Cornerstone, and coordination with facilitators and venues.
- Stakeholder Engagement -Build strong relationships across departments to understand learning needs, collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and contribute to service improvements through reporting, scheduling, and learner support.
- Learning Administration – Respond to queries efficiently, maintain accurate records, prioritise tasks based on deadlines, and support continuous improvement through proactive recommendations and digital solutions.
What you’ll bring:
- Confident using technology and office systems to streamline learning coordination and improve efficiency.
- Experience supporting HR or L&D functions would be preferred, or project experience with a strong interest in employee development.
- Skilled in engaging with a range of partners, including senior leaders, with professionalism and clarity.
- Able to plan and prioritise workload independently, delivering accurate work to defined timelines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a high level of attention to detail and numeracy.
- Comfortable making informed decisions and presenting recommendations clearly and credibly.
