We’re looking for a Supply Chain Security Specialist to join our Information Security function at Sopra Steria.
Responsibilities
- Assess new and existing third‑party suppliers by reviewing their security controls and associated risks.
- Support procurement, commercial and project teams to understand and manage supplier‑related cyber risks.
- Monitor supplier risk using tools such as Bitsight and produce clear, meaningful reports.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of supply‑chain security processes and policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and introduce automation.
- Support the response to supply‑chain‑related security incidents.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a degree in Cyber Security or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Desired Skills
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials or National Cyber Security Centre guidance.
- Understanding of third‑party risk management concepts.
- Experience with structured processes such as onboarding, compliance or risk assessments.
- Awareness of data protection principles such as the General Data Protection Regulation.
- Interest in security tooling or risk platforms.
- Location & Flexibility
Hampshire area – onsite initially, then predominantly remote with ad hoc travel to site as needed. Highly flexible working arrangements are supported.
Employment Type
Full‑time, Permanent. Eligible for SC and DV clearance.
