Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Cyber Security and keen to build your career?

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Security Specialist to join our Information Security function at Sopra Steria.

Responsibilities

  • Assess new and existing third‑party suppliers by reviewing their security controls and associated risks.
  • Support procurement, commercial and project teams to understand and manage supplier‑related cyber risks.
  • Monitor supplier risk using tools such as Bitsight and produce clear, meaningful reports.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of supply‑chain security processes and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and introduce automation.
  • Support the response to supply‑chain‑related security incidents.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Cyber Security or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials or National Cyber Security Centre guidance.
  • Understanding of third‑party risk management concepts.
  • Experience with structured processes such as onboarding, compliance or risk assessments.
  • Awareness of data protection principles such as the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Interest in security tooling or risk platforms.
  • Location & Flexibility

Hampshire area – onsite initially, then predominantly remote with ad hoc travel to site as needed. Highly flexible working arrangements are supported.

Employment Type

Full‑time, Permanent. Eligible for SC and DV clearance.
