We are on the lookout for a dynamic Employee Relations Specialist who grows with solving complex people challenges in a swift and effective manner and is passionate about driving positive employee experiences. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of employee relations across our organisation - guiding, influencing, and supporting managers to handle cases confidently, compliantly, and compassionately. This role would be based predominantly from home with weekly travel (likely on a Wednesday) to our office on Quorum Business Park. Please note we are only able to progress with candidates eligible for SC clearance.
What you will be doing:
- Provision of ER case support to the business, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
- Advise and guide managers on effectively handling ER situations, supporting managers in applying the full range of HR policies such as grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Foster and sustain internal/external customer relations to ensure a high level of service is provided.
- Collate and provide information to make sure accuracy of reporting or to meet internal/external client requirements.
- Provision and manipulation of data within Excel on an ad hoc and project basis as required.
What you will bring:
- Extensive ER experience in a large, sophisticated organisation across a diverse range of case types.
- An understanding of relevant laws and regulations and ability to apply them to situations in the workplace.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to strict deadlines.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to influence discussions with groups and individuals.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience in a HR Shared Service model.
- Experience of working in a TUPE role within a Technology/consultancy multi-site.
