We are seeking a meticulous and organised Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic data team based in Sheffield. You\’ll be part of a large, supportive team of data professionals, chipping in to the accurate and timely input of payroll-related data using our internal system, Mail Manager. This is a great opportunity to develop within a growing organisation. This is a full-time position offering a hybrid working model, providing a great work life balance. After initial training onsite, you\’ll work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with set office days on Tuesdays and Fridays. More office days can be booked as needed. Full training is provided via our 2 week New Starter Academy, followed by 2 weeks of buddy support. Ongoing guidance and development is always at hand within our collaborative team environment.

What you\’ll be doing:

  1. Inputting payroll data including bank details, tax information, change forms, annual leave, pension opt-outs, and parental leave requests.
  2. Completing daily assigned tasks in line with payroll timetables and deadlines.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and databases for audit purposes.
  4. Supporting line management with administrative tasks as required.
  5. Communicating effectively with team members.
  6. Identifying and suggesting operational improvements.
