We're looking for a seasoned marketer with significant experience in the consulting space to play a pivotal role in establishing NHS SBS as the NHS Consulting partner of choice and driving the achievement of income‑generation, reputation‑building and awareness‑raising objectives.
This is a fast‑paced, high‑visibility, high‑impact role that requires an agile and collaborative approach, a ‘fail‑fast, learn‑fast’ mindset, and the ability to be accountable for delivering measurable impact.
You will be part of the Marketing & Communications team, dotted‑line to the Consulting Director, and will collaborate with in‑house teams and external agencies.
Hybrid working is offered with ideally two days per month in the office and ad‑hoc meetings as required.
The role can be based in London or within the M62 corridor.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Consulting team to develop go‑to‑market plans, positioning and awareness building of consulting and its service offers in target markets.
- Own the development and delivery of marketing communication strategies and multi‑channel campaign delivery across digital platforms, video, events and print.
- Manage activity across the marketing funnel to deliver marketing qualified leads to client‑facing teams.
- Continuously develop value propositions for finance, workforce, commercial, automation, change‑management and full‑team service offers.
- Report on and evaluate all activity against agreed metrics to demonstrate impact and value, refining activity as needed.
- Develop compelling content for internal and external audiences, including clients, prospective clients, suppliers, consumers, key stakeholders and staff.
- Use market insights to highlight opportunities to meet client needs via existing product ranges and product/service development.
- Engage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external knowledge sources to understand the business, its strategy and the broader market.
Qualifications
- Marketing degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience of developing, delivering and evaluating marketing strategies that have driven success in a similar consulting space.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the presence and personality to engage and influence at all levels.
- Ability to prioritise between competing projects and project‑management expertise to deliver against multiple priorities at pace.
- Demonstrable experience of writing and developing accurate, compelling content for a range of audiences across various channels.
- Creative thinking, flair and a good eye for design.
- Proficiency in applicable software and programs (MS Office, email platforms, digital marketing, design and social media tools).
- Demonstrable experience of defining, tracking and evaluating ROI on marketing activity.
- Initiative and drive – self‑motivation and a can‑do attitude.
- Experience of launching new consulting services or propositions to market (desirable).
- Experience of working within the NHS or wider public sector (desirable).
Benefits
- £5,400 cash car allowance.
- 25 days annual leave with the option to buy extra days.
- 4 death in service life assurance.
- Private medical insurance.
- Pension.
- 3 days paid volunteering.
- 5 days paid carer leave.
- A generous flexible benefits fund available in cash.
