Excellent opportunity for a HR Advisor to partner with line managers to create and implement HR strategies that drive their objectives, ensuring legal compliance and best practices. You’ll guide managers on HR policies, handle employee relations, and champion smooth recruitment. This hybrid, travel-required role involves working from Leeds, Salford, London or Southampton 1–2 times per month.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues, supporting managers in using the full range of HR policies (e.g. grievance, disciplinary) to ensure matters are handled appropriately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Work with line managers and the wider HR team to assess needs and design, deliver and evaluate HR initiatives that enable them to achieve business objectives, are legally compliant, and reflect best practice.
  • Advise and coach managers on interpreting and applying HR policies and processes to ensure they are applied correctly and do not expose the Company to risk.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment activity to attract and retain the best talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships to ensure a high level of service.
  • Develop and deliver training courses and other learning events to employees and managers to reinforce or launch HR-related activities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects with the wider HR team to support business strategic aims such as employee engagement and new business.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working as an HR Advisor in a fast-moving sophisticated organisation and supporting multiple locations across the UK.
  • Sound up-to-date knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Demonstrated track record in complex case management spanning multiple terms and conditions sets.
  • Experience managing and delivering HR and engagement projects.
  • Good communicator with facilitation skills, comfortable influencing management teams.
  • Ability to work remotely and across dispersed teams.

It would be great if you had

  • CIPD qualification or working towards one.
  • Experience working with complex TUPE populations.
