Looking for a role where accuracy, organisation and great customer service really matter? Do you enjoy working with data, juggling priorities and supporting colleagues across a busy operational team? You'll be joining the Cards, Benefits & Expenses team within Transformative Business Services, supporting service delivery for our client MPS. This is a fast-paced administrative role where attention to detail is essential, and where you'll play a key part in making sure payroll-related benefits, expenses and schemes are processed accurately, on time and in line with policy and legislation. This is a permanent, full-time role, based from our Newcastle office, with an expectation of working on site two days per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing and administering Cards, Benefits & Expenses activity in line with agreed service levels and timescales.
  • Managing and prioritising your own workload across an allocated area of the team.
  • Calculating, checking and processing salary sacrifice schemes and allowances accurately.
  • Auditing expense claims to ensure compliance with MPS policy and legislative requirements.
  • Responding to queries from employees and managers via RFS and email, providing a positive and professional customer experience.
  • Supporting ad-hoc activity, including issuing letters and assisting with project work involving high-volume data analysis.

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improves performance and productivity. We support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of processing payroll-related information and working with payroll or HR systems in a high-volume environment would be beneficial.
  • High attention to detail, with confidence working with large volumes of data.
  • Good Excel skills, including use of formulas, alongside strong overall computer literacy.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • High levels of numeracy and written communication skills, including drafting clear and accurate correspondence.
