We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Leader to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering small projects and work packages of low to moderate complexity. You’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while adhering to our PPM policies and standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with organizational and customer objectives. This is a hybrid role that requires frequent travel to Salisbury or Portsmouth.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing project risks, assumptions, and dependencies to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with customer policies and strategies.
  • Maintaining project controls for time, cost, scope, and quality, ensuring effective decision-making and change management.
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates, and supporting engagement plans.
  • Managing resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure project success.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks while remaining adaptable to unforeseen challenges.
  • Monitoring project performance against KPIs and contributing to service improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong IT literacy, including MS Office and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure or application projects valued between £5k and £50k.
  • Ability to produce and review technical and commercial documentation.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and risks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and technologies for discussing IT-based solutions.
