The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This exciting role within the Central Finance team offers a unique opportunity to oversee Finance systems, primarily Oracle ERP, and its interfaces with third-party systems. In this position, you will provide expert guidance and support to users while playing a key role in the Finance community by managing the intranet pages and central SharePoint site. You will participate in the transformation of financial processes, collaborate with our RPA team, promote innovation, optimise workflows, and ensure alignment with the broader Finance strategy.
What you will be doing:
- Oracle ERP and Finance Systems Coordination
- Oversee the UK Oracle ERP solution and related Finance systems, collaborating with the Finance and Systems Support teams.
- Act as the module owner for the Oracle Time & Labour module, ensuring it meets business needs.
- Coordinate activities related to Oracle ERP interfaces, including data flows.
- Support Oracle-related activities during company transitions such as acquisitions or mergers.
- Work with module owners on data maintenance and enhancements.
- Process Improvement and System Optimisation
- Identify and implement process improvements for Oracle ERP.
- Manage the Oracle ERP enhancement backlog using Microsoft DevOps.
- Establish and maintain best practices for Oracle ERP processes, ensuring compliance.
- Review upgrades, coordinate testing, and integrate enhancements.
- User Engagement and Support
- Lead review meetings with Finance SMEs and module owners.
- Support UAT phases, including training and creating training materials.
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate updates to users.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Maintain documentation for work processes and system functionality.
- Conduct access reviews and ensure policy compliance.
- Support RPA and transformational initiatives with the Finance Transformation Team.
- Manage intranet pages and SharePoint sites, ensuring information accuracy.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven ERP expertise, understanding of ERP modules and processes.
- Experience leading IT projects from start to finish.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP modules such as AP, AR, EDI, FA, GL, OTL, PA, PO, and ISPO.
- Understanding of RPA tools and applications.
- Experience with Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Experience coordinating with support teams for system operations.
